About The Trainer
David Kirchhoff is our horse trainer here at Joarder Acres, and has been working with horses nearly his entire life. David became our Horse Trainer in 2024 and has developed many programs at our facility including our Guided Trail Rides and our Lesson Program.
Starting from a young age David showed at the Banks County Horse Shows and has since gone on to ride countless miles and horses out on the trails and even become a preforming Knight at Medieval Times.
A perfect fit for us here at Joarder Acres; we love the care, time, and training he has poured into not just our horses but our entire facility!
From The Trainer
I’ve been blessed to be around horses nearly my entire life. My mother put me on the back of her horse in a buddy saddle just before I turned three and I’ve been riding ever since.
From trail riding, to riding a bucking pony, to preforming at Medieval Times, and now training horses and riders at Joarder Acres, I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have so many incredible opportunities over the years.
I believe in building a relationship with every horse I work with and working from a place of clear communication, respect, and fairness.
The feeling you get working with and being around horses is truly like no other and I hope to share that feeling with those around me as I work to foster and enrich the equine community and the next generation of riders.
