David Kirchhoff
Our horse trainer since 2024, and the builder of our Guided Trail Rides and Lesson Program.
David has worked with horses nearly his entire life.
Starting young, he showed at the Banks County Horse Shows, has since ridden countless miles and horses on the trails, and even became a performing knight at Medieval Times.
Since joining us in 2024 he has developed many of our programs, including our Guided Trail Rides and Lesson Program. We love the care, time and training he has poured into not just our horses, but our entire facility.
From the trainer
I’ve been blessed to be around horses nearly my entire life. My mother put me on the back of her horse in a buddy saddle just before I turned three, and I’ve been riding ever since.
From trail riding, to riding a bucking pony, to performing at Medieval Times, and now training horses and riders at Joarder Acres, I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have so many opportunities over the years.
I believe in building a relationship with every horse I work with, from a place of clear communication, respect, and fairness. The feeling of working with horses is truly like no other, and I hope to share it as I work to enrich the equine community and the next generation of riders.
